From the Start
The journey began with Susan Vivanco working in a small kitchen at Highland Mall, for long shifts and learning everything about traditional Peruvian cooking and then then started Lima Criolla. The goal was always clear—to share the deep, comforting flavors of home through food that’s made with real care and original recipes. That vision became a reality at the location on North Interstate 35 in Austin.
Made with Heart
Every dish comes from the heart. Recipes are inspired by the streets of Peru and the home kitchens where bold flavors and fresh ingredients are the foundation. Nothing is rushed, and every plate is cooked with purpose. They specialize in lima style and criollo style cooking which is at its best—real, warm, and full of tradition.
